The Beautiful Lady – Gewürztraminer, a white wine cépage, is celebrated for its perfumed aromas of rose, lychee, and tropical fruits. The Private Bin is Nederburg’s top tier, reserved for their most exceptional wines. It is reserved exclusively for wines offered at the prestigious annual Nederburg Auction. Each release is a limited-edition masterpiece, meticulously crafted by hand from exceptional fruit, reflecting the pinnacle of quality and rarity.
The 2002 vintage has become a true rarity, and with its remarkable ageing potential, it is now showing at its finest. While discerning collectors may still encounter the 2011 and 2015 vintages, the estate no longer crafts a Pinotage under the prestigious Private Bin label, enhancing the exclusivity of this release. The letters “R” or “D” (as in D266) that precede a number in a Private Bin wine’s name signify a specific bin in the winery’s cellar.
